Had a visit yesterday here in our new house at Cudmirrah (Sussex Inlet). None other than Rob Hughes. It was good to have him spend a bit of time with us. Recently caught up with John and Joy (Diehm) Griffin at an avan gathering at Coffs earlier this month. Maybe other avanners like O'Briens, Smarts and Fitzpatricks will join our gathering in 2010.
Called in to see Jan and Jim Smart for a cuppa at Bomaderry (Nowra). Forunately Jim had just caught a few fish so we left with a couple of Blackfish. They are well and have just returned from a cruise (yes, another one!)
Had brekky with Barry and Beth Robertson at Pelican in Sussex.
Good to hear an extensive report from Gerard Say on his trip to the Centre and up to Darwin.
