NOWRA and NEWCASTLE

This shot was taken at sundown at Dino & Nola's place at Marks Point (Newcastle). From the Forsythe balcony. We spent the day by boating out to an island and having a great picnic. Nola went for a dip, but the ex WWTC folk thought better of it.

Old mates will be pleased to see that Denis is computer literate. They have a lovely home, complete with hot tub downstairs.

While Denis is into bowls and bridge, Nola has her hobbies including photography and painting. Make sure you have a look at the large pelican she painted when you visit.

Called on Jim and Jan Smart in Bomaderry (Nowra) recently. Fay and I now live 45 km from them. That's not Jan in the middle of the photo actually, it's their #2 daughter Jenny. Jan was looking after Jenny's twin boys. Isn't that what grandmas do best?

Fay and I spent a brief 10 days in NZ on the South Island. They tell me it's actually called the mainland even though most of the population is on the North Island.
Maybe you can send me a photo of what's happening with you and your travels. Heard there might be a Van party soon... or is it over? Photos???
Robert and June Armytage have just returned from one of their "treks" across deserts etc. Quite the intrepid travellers they are.
