GATHERING at CUDMIRRAH-BERRARA

This is our Retreat! It's situated at Surfside Caravan Park at Cudmirrah. It's a very comfortable spot 5 km south of Sussex Inlet. This is where we catch up with Jim & Jan Smart, Gra & Dale Roberts and Barry & Beth Robertson each summer.

We're really looking forward to the WWTC gang heading this way on 7-9 March. There'll be about 21 of us there to foster a fair bit of collambience.

I'll be in touch with all people who've let me know they're coming to Cudmirrah-Berrara over the next week or so. That includes: Marion Giddy, Rob & Julianne Hughes, Merv & Helen Smith, Doug & Lucy Walker, Lynn Ludwig, Van Davy, Barry & Beth Robertson, Bob & Colleen Cureton, Graeme & Suzi O'Brien, Bernie & Janice Fitzpatrick, Keasts and Gerd & Sue King.

Received a card from Jock and Gail.... I think they're in Europe as we speak. They have a daughter working in England.

Found another great spot yesterday for a future gathering. The old rectory at Kangaroo Valley. The old stone cottage has FIVE bedrooms! Can cater for about 20. Anyone interested in, say 3 days midweek one of these days?

Thanks Grahame for all your networking of the WWTC Young Fossils. Keep it up. You're doing a great job.
We haven't had much of a chance to respond since before Christmas - life has been in the fast lane here - even got your text asking for a blurb for the blog - so probably it's too late for that opportunity, or is it? If it's not too late for you to add something to what you were putting together before Christmas, perhaps you could use some or all of this.
We had all 7 of our children (most with partners) home over Christmas, although not all sleeping here, plus 5 grandchildren! After Christmas we rented a farm house on 40 acres with tennis court, near Berry for 5 nights, and all except one of the family was able to come and stay for the whole or lesser amounts of time. Voted by all a great success. Our eldest, Stephen, only flew back to his job in Jakarta 2 days ago. Now it's just Grandma and Grandpa again and it's bliss.
We've re-started bike training on Collin, (the ex-Keast tandem) in preparation for a 7-day ride, Sydney to Surfers, the first week
of April. It's organised by the Engadine Rotary Club and is a fundraiser for Fr Chris Riley's Youth off the Streets. Our fitness will need to escalate to cope with the 950+km ride.
We're looking forward to a great weekend of collambience on March 7-8-9 at Berrara.
Love, Bernie and Janice
