EX-STUDENT HONOURED

Fay and I spent a few days at Deniliquin in the western Riverina. Good to be out in the "flat country" once again. We were in Deni for the Number Plate Collectors Club meeting.

We had a lovely dinner with Bob and June Armytage (pictured above) who've lived in Deni for about a hundred years. What a chef that Bob is! I'm envious!

June (was June Alden) was honoured by the Conargo community recently. They have named their library after her (see above photos). There was a write-up in the local newspaper and then Fay and I called in at Conargo (about 30 km from Deni) and took these photos. Congratulations June.

The Armytages are on the move in the days ahead - a 4WD trip in July, followed by a trip to China in November and then a trip to Japan in 2010. One of their kids is living in Japan so that was the attraction there.

So, who was in their section: (I'm guessing) - Bailey, Edwards, Ashmore, Baker, Davy, Armytage, Alden... who else?
Meanwhile, we're looking forward to CAMP 64 on 18 July at Marion's (Kenthurst). See you there.
